AZ ROW Bill

ARS. 672 - as you can see we ADDED 3 existing ROW Statutes to include 'moving to another lane or head on collisions' - 'pulling out from intersections and yielded when doing so' - 'merging into traffic from on ramps or other merging moves' - These 3 statutes were already existing, BUT did NOT have penalties associated with them, only a description of how to legally/safely do these things.  We ADDED them to 672, which is the statute that says, IF you violate any of these statutes within, AND cause Serious Physical Injury or Death, these are your penalties.  Prior to ADDING these 3, the only 2 of all the rest that existed that would possibly effect motorcyclists, were 2 - one for running a Red Light and one for Left Turns.

ARS. 675 - This is IF you cause a Death by violating anyone of the ROW statutes (same as above) AND are driving on a Suspended or Revoked License - Penalty bumps up to a CLASS 4 FELONY.  We ADDED our 3 existing statutes again AND ADDED number 7 because this statute never included the driver that DID NOT HAVE A LICENSE OR PROPER ENDORSEMENT.

ARS. 676 - This is IF you cause Serious Physical Injury by violating anyone of the ROW statutes (same as above) AND are driving on a Suspended or Revoked License - Penalty bumps up to a CLASS 5 FELONY.  We ADDED our 3 existing statutes again AND ADDED number 7 because this statute never included the driver that DID NOT HAVE A LICENSE OR PROPER ENDORSEMENT.
